Acre Lifts have always seen the importance of looking at the growth of business and how that will be supported. So as to ensure that we infuse the same business ethic we have looked to take on one or two apprentices each year and we are pleased to announce the arrival of two new apprentices, one in each department.

We have also taken on Mr Sam Mosley,  Sam has relations within the lift industry and so this has culminated in his desire to become a Lift Engineer. Sam undertook interviews along with other candidates and successfully passed his initial test at LITs and has since joined the service Department, we of course wish him the best for the future.

Mr Deon September joined us on 8th July 2002 and originally hails from South Africa. Having spent the previous 18 months travelling the UK, Deon chose to settle in London and joined Acre Lifts. In the 7 years Deon worked out in the field he proved to be a very conscientious employee. Sadly, Deon experienced very ill health in 2008 resulting in him being off sick for a long period of time with an illness which could have proven fatal.

Acre Lifts and his colleagues supported him during this time, along with additional support from The Lift Industry Charity. Thankfully Deon has been slowly recovering and in March 2010 returned to work in a temporary office role, however he has since been informed by his consultant he can no longer carry out the role of a field Engineer as a result of his illness.

Fortunately Acre Lifts Service Department and Portfolio has grown sufficiently enough to enable Deon to migrate into a Support Supervisors role, so we wish him the very best in his future role.
