New recruits joining Acre Lifts with a view to becoming Lift Fitters are vetted for a career in this industry and are trained as improver fitters or apprentices who are being trained to a minimum BTECH & NVQ3 level.

We arrange for all Managers to be IOSH trained and Engineers attend an internal Safety Meeting every six months.
All Managers & staff are kept advised of safety issues relating.

During the Induction process, all Safety documents (Risk Identified differently i.e. COSHH, HOT WORKS, Site Induction Sheets) are clearly explained for their correct usage.

All engineers are trained to NVQ Level 3 and have undertaken Health & Safety training as part of their course.

Safety Information matters arising from notification from Lift & Escalator Industry Association (The Lift Federation Body) is recorded and copied to all engineers who sign receipt of the information, this is also a requirement of our Quality Procedure.
